The Functional “Nuts and Bolts” of an In Vitro Fluorometer (IVF) Designed to Determine Levels of Cyanobacteria in Lakes Across Massachusetts (Spring 2012). I established a protocol to determine which environmental factors (i.e. turbidity, temperature, agitation, etc.) affect an IVF and in what manner. After running the experiments, I prepared a presentation for DEP employees and community members working with cyanobacteria. This was my first exposure to harmful algal blooms.
